“This just shows that friends may part ways, but they will always have each other’s back. I’m glad I read this book. It comforts me to know that even if my friend and I go to different schools, I know that she will always be here for me. I’m looking forward to summer!”

An adventure awaits the Tuckerman family.
The story is set in the year 1900. The Tuckermans are aboard a steamship to spend the summer in an island called Mount Desert. They are moving into a new home and their father, Samuel Tuckerman, cannot wait to show it to his family. On the other hand, Samuel’s daughter, Wilhelmina, cannot wait to see her best friend. She feels ecstatic just thinking about the wonderful memories they will create this summer, such as a fishing trip to Rangeley, a trip to Bangor, and to meet Miss Annie Oakley in person!
This would be a summer to remember!
